Due to overwhelming demand for our 4 year old class, our Tuesday/Thursday classes are now combined 3/4 year old classes. Registration for the 2025/2026 school year is on-going, please visit our registration page for further details.

Discovery Preschool is a parent cooperative offering a nurturing, stimulating environment that is Reggio and project inspired. With the teacher in the role of researcher, the children contribute to and establish the curriculum in partnership.

The daily schedule provides time for interactive play in a variety of interesting centers, gathering time, snack and group activities (e.g. yoga, drama, art, drumming). The students display and revisit their learning through photos, artwork and an artifact gallery.

Family and community play a crucial role in supporting the children’s inquiry and learning. Parents volunteer in the classroom on a rotational basis and each family assumes a job that contributes to the running of the program.

The combined 3/4 year old class runs on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:15am - 11:45am.

The 4 year old class runs on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:15am - 11:45am.
