We are excited to introduce an additional program to our current classes:

4's Jr. Kindergarten Afternoon Class 1:00-3:30 Monday, Wednesday, Friday

A brand-new afternoon option for families looking for flexible scheduling and enriching kindergarten readiness experiences

From continuing to explore nature-inspired learning environments to adding an afternoon program, we're committed to creating an engaging, nurturing, and joyful environment for your child.

Programs we offer:

3 year old Morning Class 9:15am-11:45am Tuesday, Thursday

4's Jr. Kindergarten Morning Class 9:15am-11:45am Monday, Wednesday, Friday

4's Jr. Kindergarten Afternoon Class 1:00pm-3:30pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Discovery Preschool is a parent cooperative offering a nurturing, stimulating environment that is Reggio and project inspired. With the teacher in the role of researcher, the children contribute to and establish the curriculum in partnership.

The daily schedule provides time for interactive play in a variety of interesting centers, gathering time, snack and group activities (e.g. yoga, drama, art, drumming). The students display and revisit their learning through photos, artwork and an artifact gallery.

Family and community play a crucial role in supporting the children’s inquiry and learning. Parents volunteer in the classroom on a rotational basis and each family assumes a job that contributes to the running of the program.
