As we continue to grow, we are excited to introduce several wonderful enhancements to our preschool program.
From new learning environments to expanded program options, we're committed to creating an engaging, nurturing, and joyful environment for your child. These improvements reflect our ongoing dedication to providing exemplary early childhood education in a safe and supportive setting.
We are thrilled to offer the following classes for the upcoming school year:
4's Junior Kindergarten Morning Class 9:15-11:45 Monday, Wednesday, Friday
4's Junior Kindergarten Afternoon Class 1:00-3:30 Monday, Wednesday, Friday
A brand-new afternoon option for families looking for flexible scheduling and enriching kindergarten readiness experiences
Ages 3-6 years Nature-Based Play and Learn Class 9:00-12:30 Tuesday, Thursday
A wonderful new program where children learn through outdoor exploration, hands-on discovery, and nature-inspired play
Discovery Preschool is a parent cooperative offering a nurturing, stimulating environment that is Reggio and project inspired. With the teacher in the role of researcher, the children contribute to and establish the curriculum in partnership.
The daily schedule provides time for interactive play in a variety of interesting centers, gathering time, snack and group activities (e.g. yoga, drama, art, drumming). The students display and revisit their learning through photos, artwork and an artifact gallery.
Family and community play a crucial role in supporting the children’s inquiry and learning. Parents volunteer in the classroom on a rotational basis and each family assumes a job that contributes to the running of the program.
The combined 3/4 year old class runs on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:15am - 11:45am.
The 4 year old class runs on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:15am - 11:45am.
